One Direction really are in toon: 1D boys make guest appearance in special Beano cartoon

1D, Jessie J and Olly Murs were “cartoonified” in a special edition of the monthly BeanoMAX magazine for Red Nose Day’s 25th anniversary

You'd better stop pulling faces, Jessie J, because if the wind suddenly changes you’ll... end up as a Beano character.

The singer made her debut in the kids’ comic, performing an unlikely duet with Minnie the Minx.

Jessie was “cartoonified” along with the One Direction lads in a special edition of the monthly BeanoMAX magazine for Red Nose Day’s 25th anniversary.

One Direction, who look like they’re stuck in a perma-windtunnel as they meet Dennis the Menace, said: "We've grown up with the magazine so now to actually appear in it with Dennis and Gnasher themselves is incredible."

Other big names to make a guest appearance in the comic are singer Olly Murs and former Doctor Who, David Tennant.

The famous names come together to enable regular Beano faces such as Dennis The Menace and Minnie The Minx to put on a charity show

Mike Stirling, editor-in-chief of The Beano and BeanoMax, said: "It was brilliant fun imagining how Jessie, Olly, David and 1D would interact with our mischievous characters and I hope they enjoy the results as much our readers and their fans will.

A  One Direction fan has admitted to throwing a shoe at Harry Styles, which inadvertently hit him in the crotch. 

The shoe – which left Styles on the floor clutching at his groin – was thrown by fan Jade Anderson at the band's gig in Glasgow last night (February 26), who says she didn't mean to hurt him. "I just wanted him to touch something belonging to me," she told the Scottish Daily Record. "I didn’t mean to hit him where I hit him, I’m really embarrassed." The furore – which you can watch above, if you're so inclined - resulted in her being booted out of the gig by bouncers as bandmate Liam Payne joked to the crowd: "Well, he has just been assaulted."

Incidentally, it's the second time this has happened to Styles. He suffered a blow to the groin last April by what appeared to be a flying shoe at the band's gig in Sydney's Hordern Pavilion last April. 

Meanwhile, Harry Styles recently was reported to have come out as a Labour Party supporter. "I’m a Labour supporter," he told a tabloid source. "I lean to the left. I’m for the people." This was doubtless good news to Conservative Prime Minister David Cameron, who appears in the video for the band's new charity single, 'One Way Or Another (Teenage Kicks)', which is this year's official Comic Relief track.

Harry, told the Sunday People: “I’m a Labour supporter. I’m what they stand for and that is what I base my outfits on.

“I’m a Labour man through and through. I have become really interested in politics recently. That is why I wear these clothes. Being a Labour supporter is where I get my inspiration from.”

His statement is not as bizarre as it sounds.

TV footage of the 1984-85 miners’ strike, when unions took on the Tories, has inspired a recent surge in designers duplicating what the working men wore on the picket lines.

It makes tub-thumping Arthur Scargill the most unlikely fashion icon.

Brit-winning stars One Direction have revealed that the film crew for their new movie follow them everywhere - even to the loo.

The boy band - Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne, Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson - were continuing filming of the documentary as they collected their global success award at London's O2 Arena last night.

They are in the midst of making a 3D movie with the director of Supersize Me, Morgan Spurlock.

Horan - speaking backstage at the awards - said: "Spurlock's here himself. We're shooting the movie now... it's actually just been in the toilet with us - no lie.

"It's going to be very access all areas."

He added: "It's been a good start to the week, because on Saturday we open up our world tour here at the O2, and that's going on until November."

He said the film was due to appear in August. "It's going to be a very exciting year," he added

In the most bizarre celebrity spat of recent weeks it's One Direction vs Culture Club.

There was always going to be a celebrity spat when you put hundreds of famous people at the same party on tables with unlimited bottles of booze.

But it’s fair to say nobody would have predicted a war of words between Boy George and Liam Payne.

The former Culture Club singer has been showing off his new slimline look after a dramatic weight loss where he shed a few stone so took the opportunity to diss the One Direction star.

At the BRIT Awards the eighties singer blasted Liam on Twitter after he apparently declined to pose for a photo with his 13-year-old niece Molly Fitzpatrick.

Skinny Boy tweeted: 'Top marks to Harry Styles for stopping for a picture with my niece and Bo**ox's to Liam and the disrespectful w**ker of a minder!'

And today, Liam hit back and ranted the 53-year-old shouldn’t 'tell porkies' and described the Karma Chameleon singer as 'weird'.

In a post on Twitter, Liam said: 'Now now boy lets not tell porkies firstly thanks for getting my name wrong three times secondly then asking me where is liam?...awkward.

‘Then when you finally got it right saying you wanted Niall instead. If you would have asked me for a picture I would have stopped bro I just did what you said and pointed niall out for you.

‘So u just keep wearing ur strange hats and enjoy yourself my little Georgie pie... It's still not cool you just look weird. [SIC]’

It’s worth noting that despite mocking his iconic look, Liam still called him ‘bro’. Which is sweet.

It wasn’t the only bit of 1D controversy from Boy George after he also claimed that Harry Styles would be the first member to leave the world famous boyband.

One Direction get potty mouthed at the BRITs, revealing they've been filmed in the toilet for new movie!

We caught up with the lads backstage at the awards ceremony, where they admitted their new movie is literally access ALL areas

It's likely that the BRIT Award scooped by One Direction was created to get the boys on stage.

But when the boys delivered their impromptu winners speech backstage they literally shared too much information in the classic sense of the phrase.

The popstars are currently filming for a new movie that will be shot in 3D and Niall Horan confessed: "We're shooting the movie tonight.

"It's actually just been in the toilet with us."

He added: "It's going to be very access all areas."

Bandmate Liam Payne chipped in: "Especially in the toilet."

And Niall, 19, joked: "That's something to look forward to."

1D won the Global Success Award and were quick to thank their fans for the success.

Speaking backstage, Niall said: "Our fans are the as amazing all around the world."

Louis Tomlinson reflected: "Its been a great night and it was great performing but to win an award is huge."

Their charity single is number one in 63 countries, Zayn Malik said: "We're just massively grateful to be a part of it and have the opportunity to do something so amazing for such a good cause."

DEMI LOVATO: ‘EVERY GIRL NEEDS SOMEBODY LIKE NIALL HORAN IN THEIR LIFE’

Are we getting a whiff of love in the air between Demi Lovato and Niall Horan of One Direction? It sure seems like it!

Lovato is currently in the U.K. (along with her bum leg) for London Fashion Week, and it sounds as though the 20-year-old ‘X Factor‘ judge and 19-year-old 1Der have been spending some quality time together.

Demi told Yahoo (via Entertainment Wise), “Niall is really one of the most fun people to be around. It has obviously not been great hobbling around on a broken leg – but Niall can even make that funny.” She continued, “He can make light of the most serious situations – and every girl needs somebody like Niall in their life.” So pretty much the brace-faced boy band heartthrob is hubby material and Demi is taking notice. We are rooting for these two crazy kids!

This is not the first time Niall and Demi have been linked somewhat romantically, either. The puppy love started all the way back in June of last year when they both admitted they were buddies and spoke very highly of one another. They went on a taco date after the 2012 MTV VMAs and Demi reportedly told people that she and Niall were “casually dating” back in October. Have they upped their status to “exclusive” from “casual”? Anything Facebook offish yet?! We need to know!

It seems as though these two are upping the ante with their budding relationship to which we say, kudos! With Horan setting out on a 110-city world tour and Demi set to release another album, we wish them the best! Keep it real, you two!

One Way Or Another (Teenage Kicks) is set to become the most successful Comic Relief single EVER

If you needed any further proof that boyband One Direction are slowly taking over the world, the news that their new single - recorded for Comic Relief - has gone to number one in no less than 63 countries is undoubtedly it.

That's almost one third of the countries in the entire world, making it set to be the most successful Comic Relief single ever by far.

The lads released One Way Or Another (Teenage Kicks), a mash-up of Blondie's classic track and The Undertones' anthem, earlier this week, and it has already hit the top spot in countries including the UK, USA, Canada, Mexico, Argentina, Singapore, Egypt and New Zealand.

Previous Comic Relief singles - such as Westlife's Uptown Girl, The Spice Girls' Who Do You Think You Are and Boyzone's When The Going Gets Tough - have done well, but 1D's success is off the charts.

And, considering that Red Nose Day isn't really a 'thing' outside of the UK, it's really quite a staggering achievement.

The bigwigs over at Comic Relief are obviously over the moon with the single's success too, with the organisation's chief exec, Kevin Cahill, saying: ""We couldn't have asked for a better band to record the official Red Nose Day single in our 25th year.

Harry and Rita appeared to be a pout away from a kiss as they mingled in the VIP area at the O2 and War Child Brit Awards concert last night.

The pair had been watching Muse perform the intimate gig and were later pictured invading each other’s personal space while Harry’s rumoured ex Cara is stood just a few feet away trying to ignore the chemistry between them.

Lucky Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson each have an assistant of their own, while Liam Payne, Niall Horan and Zayn Malik will have one to share between them.

A 1D insider tells 3am that the hardest-working boys of pop — combined age 27 — needed help in organising their busy diaries.

So label Sony and mentor Simon Cowell allowed them to interview and appoint their own choices.

No surprise that they’ve all plumped for [hot young] females.

So the quintet, who are performing at tomorrow night’s Brit awards, now have the kind of support team that Mariah Carey would kill for.

As well as PAs, the members of the boyband have *deep breath*... managers, publicists, financial advisers, stylists, asset managers, around-the-clock security and drivers. Phew.

A source said: “The guys have incredibly manic professional and personal lives, and they started getting stressed out about their ever-increasing workload.

"Obviously the record label don’t want them burning out, so they came up with the idea of letting them appoint personal assistants.

“The idea is for the PAs to run their diaries on a day-to-day basis, and make sure they turn up to dentist appointments and photoshoots.

“With the world tour coming up, it is essential they are on top of everything and put under as little stress as possible.”

The One Direction singer was partying in a student nightclub in Leeds that offers the hangover inducing spirit for a quid to punters while a beer costs a measly £1.50 and two double vodka mixers would have set him back a fiver.

Harry, 19, had spent the afternoon in Nandos for a not-so-romantic meal with some friends who are studying in University of Leeds before joining a flat party at Leodis student halls of residence before hitting the town.

The group of teenagers – joined by one fifth of the world’s biggest boyband – went to popular student club Mezz.

An onlooker revealed: “Harry was getting mobbed by everyone in the club but was still having a great time.

"He was happy to pose for pictures but spent time away from the main club in VIP.

“Some girls were literally begging him to let them join him in the VIP booth of the club.”

1D's Louis Tomlinson discovered the YouTube videos of rising pop rockers 5 Seconds Of Summer, who hail from Sydney's western suburbs, and championed them via social media.

5SOS's Luke Hemmings, Michael Clifford, Calum Hood and Ashton Irwin relocated to London to write and record their debut record in December and the 1D lads invited them "to hang out".

Niall Horan dropped by their studio in January while Tomlinson and Harry Styles challenged them to a football match where the Australians were soundly beaten 15 to 2.

Their blossoming bromance turned into 5SOS's big break when 1D personally chose them to join them on the 110-date world tour which kicks off at London's O2 arena on February 23

“We discovered 5SOS on YouTube last year and we all knew straight away they were very special. We’re so excited to have them on the road with us and we know our fans are going to LOVE what these lads do," Horan said.

In just 15 months, the Sydney lads have gone from playing to 20 people at legendary live music nursery, the Annandale Hotel, to performing in front of 1.3 million 1D fans in Europe, America and Australia.

The One Directioner gets philosophical after the accusation from author Alain De Botton. We're team Harry, obvs.

It's nice to know Harry Styles is keeping an eye on all the stories written about him (are you reading this right now Harry? Hi!). This morning the One Direction singer responded to a story in the Metro which quoted writer and philosopher Alain De Botton saying the floppy-haired one should be more high-brow and tweet more about Greek philosophy.

Alain, who met Harry recently at a party, told the newspaper: "The problem we've got is that most famous people in the country tend to believe in things that aren't particularly ambitious. In an ideal world Harry Styles would be teaching his 10 million Twitter followers a little more about Greek philosophy."

And so he did. "Socrates, born in Athens in the 5th century BCE, marks a watershed in Ancient Greek philosophy," wrote Harry. So what if he's just copy and pasted that from Wikipedia? The pretty singer was pictured recreating the iconic Dirty Dancing lift – a move she mastered with the One Direction singer on the first night they got together.

But it seems that Taylor is already over the sentiment and isn’t holding back when it comes to mocking her relationship with Harry.

They were inseparable during their brief fling before Christmas and on the night they hooked up at an after-party following One Direction’s headline gig at Madison Square Garden, New York, the popstars were caught on camera attempting the famous lift.

Taylor, 23, was filming the video for new single ‘22’ on a beach in Malibu and was styled with Harry’s famous look.

During the spoken part of the song, Taylor told the millions of viewers: “So he calls me up and he’s like ‘Ah still love you.’”

“And I’m like 'I’m sorry, I’m busy opening up the Grammys… and we are never getting back together!'”

Zayn Malik won´t leave One Direction

It sparked a rumor about the possible departure of Zayn Malik from One Direction grouping.But do not be alarmed! This information was discarded.
"It's completely false, Zayn is not leaving the band" and a spokesman confirmed One Direction.
He said that Zayn was contemplating a hasty exit because I was tired of having to make public his life, his love problems, family, and others.
For now Zayn Malik is not removed and continues to prepare for the world tour along with fellow Harry Styles, Liam Payne, Niall Horan and Louis Tomlinson.

Niall Horan will be the first to leave One Direction

Rumor has it Zayn Malik who is considering leaving the band, the former member of Westlife, Brian McFadden, has indicated that it believes that Niall is the one with the greatest chance to leave the band that catapulted him to stardom.

As reported Glamour.co.uk, Brian said in an interview with British radio station Real Radio Yorkshire: "It seems that Niall is the typical follow my steps and Robbie Williams will be the first to change the group a solo career. "He added: "Those who leave are always first with the spark, which are a little more daring and rebellious."

The singer also said Niall's character reminds him, perhaps because both are Irish, and said the part of One Direction is something I had seen before while looking in the mirror.

Horan has not yet ruled on the matter of these statements. Who else has come out in defense of the unity of the band is their spokesman, who has denied rumors that a possible way out of the group of Zayn Malik

The singer opened last night's Grammy Awards ceremony with his famous single "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together '. However, it seems that during the performance improvise Taylor decided to mock Harry Styles, a member of the  

British band One Direction and which broke up just over a month.

With an English accent Taylor sang: "He called to tell me that he still loved me and said I was sorry but I was busy opening the Grammy gala. So we are never ever getting back together."

The cheeky 1D star, 19, was so enamoured with the Cheryl Cole lookalike, 25, during her appearance on This Morning yesterday that he took to Twitter, saying: “That girl on @itvthismorning is beautiful!”
Later in the show, host Ruth Langsford played match-maker, saying live on air: “She’s single, Niall. I’ve checked for you.”

Rachel and Niall then tweeted each other cute picture messages, though she later joked that Niall was “a bit young for me. What is he? Like 12?”
Could have been the start of a wonderful romance.
