One Direction really are in toon: 1D boys make guest appearance in special Beano cartoon

1D, Jessie J and Olly Murs were “cartoonified” in a special edition of the monthly BeanoMAX magazine for Red Nose Day’s 25th anniversary

You'd better stop pulling faces, Jessie J, because if the wind suddenly changes you’ll... end up as a Beano character.

The singer made her debut in the kids’ comic, performing an unlikely duet with Minnie the Minx.

Jessie was “cartoonified” along with the One Direction lads in a special edition of the monthly BeanoMAX magazine for Red Nose Day’s 25th anniversary.

One Direction, who look like they’re stuck in a perma-windtunnel as they meet Dennis the Menace, said: "We've grown up with the magazine so now to actually appear in it with Dennis and Gnasher themselves is incredible."

Other big names to make a guest appearance in the comic are singer Olly Murs and former Doctor Who, David Tennant.

The famous names come together to enable regular Beano faces such as Dennis The Menace and Minnie The Minx to put on a charity show
