Harry Styles spends Valentine's Day partying at £1 Tequila student nightclub after boozing at university halls

One Direction star surprised students in Leeds after turning up to their halls of residence before enjoying cheap drinks until 4am in town

He wouldn’t have been short of Valentine’s Day offers and he’s got a few million sitting nicely in the bank – but Harry Styles was drowning his single-life sorrows with £1 Tequila shots last night.

The One Direction singer was partying in a student nightclub in Leeds that offers the hangover inducing spirit for a quid to punters while a beer costs a measly £1.50 and two double vodka mixers would have set him back a fiver.

Harry, 19, had spent the afternoon in Nandos for a not-so-romantic meal with some friends who are studying in University of Leeds before joining a flat party at Leodis student halls of residence before hitting the town.

The group of teenagers – joined by one fifth of the world’s biggest boyband – went to popular student club Mezz.

An onlooker revealed: “Harry was getting mobbed by everyone in the club but was still having a great time.

"He was happy to pose for pictures but spent time away from the main club in VIP.

“Some girls were literally begging him to let them join him in the VIP booth of the club.”
