One Direction's Harry Styles Still Not Over Caroline Flack Romance?

Harry Styles has certainly gone through his fair share of women since finding fame, but it seems he hasn't let go of his first celeb romance with Xtra Factor presenter Caroline Flack and still listens to a mix CD she made for him while they were dating.

According to childhood friend Nick Clough, the singer keeps the CD, which includes Carly Rae Jepsen's, in his Audi and listens to it when he's at home. Harry and Caroline dated for three months, finally breaking up in January 2012, following criticism of their relationship.

Fans and fellow celebs attacked the couple over their 15 year age gap and the fact the One Direction star was still only 17 years old when they were dating, but according to Nick, Styles was head over heels for the pretty 33 year-old.

“He was always really popular with girls," Nick told The Mirror.

"He had a lot of girlfriends through our school years. None of the girls said no to him. He’s always been able to get whoever he wanted."

“If he wants a girl he’ll set his mind on it and get her if he wants her," he claimed.

"I think when Harry first got with Caroline (Flack) he was pretty proud of himself.”

Speaking about when he last saw Harry he said: "We had a little drive around, catching up, listening to music."

"He had a CD in the car that Caroline Flack made for him. It was made up of cute little songs that they listened to together. One song on there was Call Me Maybe and we were singing along to it."

He added: "Then we went to McDonald’s and had a drive-through.”

Since then Harry has dated the likes of Taylor Swift and Cara Delevingne, but could he still carry a torch for Flack?

But it seems that Taylor is already over the sentiment and isn’t holding back when it comes to mocking her relationship with Harry.

They were inseparable during their brief fling before Christmas and on the night they hooked up at an after-party following One Direction’s headline gig at Madison Square Garden, New York, the popstars were caught on camera attempting the famous lift.

Taylor, 23, was filming the video for new single ‘22’ on a beach in Malibu and was styled with Harry’s famous look.

Wearing a matching green beanie and cream jumper, she’s not exactly subtle when it comes to directing the song to her ex.

In the opening lyrics, she sings: "It feels like a perfect night to dress up like hipsters / And make fun of our exes, ah ah, ah ah."

And these hurtful digs have featured on Taylor’s first day on set which can only mean more bad news for Harry.

While they were dating, Harry appeared to copy the tattoo of Taylor's male companion in the official video for Trouble.

On Sunday night, Taylor opened the Grammy Awards by performing her catchy tune We Are Never Getting Back Together (or WANGBT for fans of acronyms) – complete with what appeared to be a dodgy impersonation or a certain 1D star.

During the spoken part of the song, Taylor told the millions of viewers: “So he calls me up and he’s like ‘Ah still love you.’”

“And I’m like 'I’m sorry, I’m busy opening up the Grammys… and we are never getting back together!'”

The singer opened last night's Grammy Awards ceremony with his famous single "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together '. However, it seems that during the performance improvise Taylor decided to mock Harry Styles, a member of the  

British band One Direction and which broke up just over a month.

With an English accent Taylor sang: "He called to tell me that he still loved me and said I was sorry but I was busy opening the Grammy gala. So we are never ever getting back together."

Despite 1D winning the award for Best International Artist, Harry was probably rather embarrassed by the very public dissing as the whole world looked on and his bandmates had a little internal snigger.
Still he looks as though he’s recovered fully from the ordeal and seemed to have a bit of a spring in his step as he landed at Heathrow airport after a quick stop in Glasgow.

We’re sure his fans helped lift his spirits though and he happily posed for pictures with them so they could splatter them all over Twitter afterwards.

There’s nothing like a bit of adoration to boost the ego and Harry’s certainly not short of female attention, especially ones who like to visit his home.
In fact something tells us, he really couldn’t care less about Taylor’s little performance and is probably rather chuffed about the whole thing.

Many of us hoped (with gritted teeth and clenched fists), that last night's NRJ Awards in France would be the start of Harry Styles and Taylor Swift's beautiful reunion... but it didn't quite work out as planned.
The evening started off well - both parties rocked up in France, for a start. One side losing their nerve and pulling out was always a massive risk.
Taylor tweeted a lovely picture of the Cannes sunset before getting all dressed up in a stunning low cut sparkly gown. Breaking her own 'legs or boobs' rule with her long pins on show, Taylor must have realised that it was an important night - with every effort going towards making Harry see what he's missing.

As one of the night's performers, we all hoped that Taylor would do an emotional version of I Knew You Were Trouble as she gazed into Harry's eyes. She did tweet lyric 'Til you put me down' after their dramatic split in the Caribbean after all.

But what did the blonde decide to do? She clambered on stage with a sexy little black outfit, strutted around in knee high boots and yelled "We are never getting back together" repeatedly towards Harry in the audience.

The couple, who announced their break at Christmas after two months of dating, want to give a second chance to see if your relationship works or if it really should be the final goodbye.

Harry Styles and Taylor Swift are both in London, big deal right? However, does this mean a reconciliation is on the cards or will it be a case of desperately avoiding each other? We thought they were never ever, ever getting back together - like ever!
Allegedly, the ex lovebirds are trying to patch things up as Taylor flew to London on Tuesday (for peace talks, apparently) AND the pair will both hit the red carpet at the NRJ Music Awards in Cannes at the weekend.

The One Direction heartthrob was spotted in Camden, North London, on Tuesday clambering into his swanky black Land Rover (what is it about slebs and splashing out on 4x4s as soon as they hit the big time?) as Taylor reportedly touched down in the UK.

Haylor's romance blossomed in November 2012 after they were spotted holding hands in Central Park, New York, BUT after a short-lived relationship the couple split after a string of arguments over New Year.

So, will they rekindle their showmance? A source allegedly told The Sun, "Taylor realised she was being a bit full-on. She is now more relaxed about their relationship. She intends to enjoy it more rather than worry about where it could eventually lead.
"Harry is not the sort of guy you can stay mad at for long. She's given him some space and it's done them both a world of good. What happened over New Year is now a distant memory."

And it’s all thanks to X Factor supremo and One Direction boss Simon Cowell, who I hear turned all Jeremy Kyle and gave Hazza some friendly words of advice.
I’m told: “Harry still really likes Taylor but, like anyone who has gone through a break-up, he’s found it difficult to speak to his ex.
“After flying back to the UK, Harry’s been trying to figure things out and in order to do that he decided to initially avoid her calls.
“Simon gave Harry a friendly warning that any animosity between him and Taylor could jeopardise One Direction’s popularity in the US.

“They’re two of the world’s biggest music stars, and Simon knew that, although things didn’t work out between them, they were bound to meet at various events and awards ceremonies.
“Harry spoke to Taylor on the phone while on a trip to Ghana with the One Direction boys this week for Comic Relief.
“Taylor was keen to meet face to face and talk things through but Harry felt there was nothing left to be said. Plus the boys’ schedule meant it wouldn’t have been possible as they were due to fly to Japan.”
Although Taylor may be ritually burning all their photos, Harry was keen to stress he didn’t want things to be difficult between them.
The source said: “Harry told Taylor he didn’t hold grudges and hoped things wouldn’t be awkward when they saw each other.
“Taylor seemed to listen but insisted there were still things they needed to discuss.
“The air has been cleared between them... and they’re due to see each other at next month’s Brit Awards, although friends think Taylor may pull out.”

She’s famous for writing songs about her break-ups and Taylor Swift has spent almost every day in the studio since her split with Harry Styles. Which probably isn’t the best news for the curly One Direction singer.
He might want to start working his own ‘diss track’ or something in preparation of the inevitable acoustic onslaught from Taylor.
And if he’s struggling, Harry could always recruit some of the other famous types who have been dumped by the 22-year-old and form a super-band.
The band should be called The Ex-Factor and release a single ‘We Told You She Was Trouble’ ft. Joe Jonas, Taylor Lautner, John Mayer, Jake Gyllenhaal and Conor Kennedy.
