One Direction star Niall Horan is officially single again after splitting from his Irish sweetheart Zoe Whelan.

The 19-year-old had been on-off with the Dublin babe since bringing her to his brother’s wedding in March.

But Niall has now told Zoe, 18, the relationship over – just as her modelling career goes from strength-to-strength.

Zoe has continually refused to chat about their relationship – despite being offered big money for a tell-all interview by publications around the world.

A source said: “It is all over for Niall and Zoe – and it is completely because of his side of things.

“Obviously, it was always going to be hard to have an ongoing relationship when his job has him travelling around so much.

“But there’s been no push from Niall to keep things going at all and has told Zoe it is over by completely blanking her.

“Over the past few weeks her modelling career has become huge, but Niall hasn’t been in contact to say well done. She hasn’t even had a text from him, let alone a call, for nearly two weeks.

“Out of respect to Niall, she refused to say a word to anyone about the relationship – even when there was money on the table to spill the beans as she knew it would be over then.

“But it seems just doing her job is too much for 1D’s people, who appear to have pressured Niall to cut all ties with Zoe. It’s cruel the way he’s done it, and she’s obviously a bit devastated it’s over.”

The singer wants everyone to see his muscles as the boyband remain focused on bulking up and working out.

They spend most of their time on tour , singing a few pop songs, playing computer games and binging on fast food.

So it was only a matter of time before the One Direction lads bucked up their ideas and signed up for gruelling work-out plans.

The boyband have even started a relentless routine with mixed martial arts trainers as they hope to bulk up for the US leg of their Take Me Home tour.

While we are mostly familiar with seeing them dressed like someone has been kicked through Topman covered in sticky tape, Niall Horan was showing off his new found frame.

The Irish hunk , 19, posed topless for a picture in the middle of a gym routine as he straddled the weights machine which focuses on strength of the shoulders and back.

Niall makes no secret of he loves 'having the craic' and 'some pints' with his boys back home when he can squeeze in some time off.

But he will no doubt be enjoying his time off from the UK as the singers travel the world performing for tens of thousands of fans.

The time away from the UK will help the lads focus on their gym training and healthy eating.

Liam Payne, 19, has even been taking protein shakes to help build up even more muscle.

Niall Horan and Liam Payne got into a bit of a tussle on stage in Belgium this evening, fans have reported.
The One Direction stars are playing their latest concert from their Take Me Home tour in Antwerp this evening, after wrapping up their French shows last night and it sounds like their energy levels haven’t dropped one single bit.

In the middle of their gig, fans have revealed on Twitter that Niall Horan and Liam Payne staged a bit of a play fight, mid performance and because he’s a great wee Irish scrapper, of course Nialler won.
As Payne admitted defeat, Niall celebrated by cleaning the stage with his back, before getting back to his singing.

An audience member also revealed that Liam wasn’t just being dragged about on his back, but he also showed fans that he can play both the drums and the piano. @JoyTheJoker tweeted:

One Direction 'Forced To Record Album In Hotel Rooms On 'Take Me Home' Tour'

The boyband are hoping to release the album before Christmas.



One Direction are working around the clock to ensure their next album is completed in time for Christmas with Louis Tomlinson revealing the lads are “shattered” after having to record the record in their hotel rooms while on their current 'Take Me Home' world tour.
The 'Live While We're Young' hitmakers are currently on the European leg of the mammoth 120-date tour, and while they have very little time on their hands, Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, Niall Horan, Liam Payne and Zayn Malik have been putting in extra hours to ensure the record is out by Christmas.

Confirming that they are busy working on their third album, Louis told the Daily Star: “We've already started recording the album, we started about a month ago.
“We've been writing and recording it while on tour. We are really happy with it. We don't want to rush it but it will be out for Christmas.”
According to the publication, the boys have set up portable recording studios in their hotel rooms as they travel across various cities and have even had creative input with the songwriting, working in pairs.
“We have the film coming out as well so we are all pretty shattered but we are all having a great time,” Louis added last week before 1D kicked off the European leg of their jaunt.
“We have had a week off this week before heading on to Europe for the tour.”

1D's Niall: 'Naked Shower Pic Is Not Me'

One Direction star Niall Horan has denied that a naked shower snap doing the rounds online is him.
The Irish heartthrob took to Twitter to address the image - which showed a nude man washing himself in the shower - explaining that despite the praise from his army of fans, it was not him in the pic.

Horan tweeted in a message to his 11 million-plus followers: "That’s not me by the way in that pic. I’d be happy with biceps like that though to be fair!"
1D also hit the headlines for their nakedness over the weekend, after Louis Tomlinson revealed that bandmate Harry Styles once stripped off on a Segway.
He told The Sun: "Niall turned up recently at a gig with a Segway. We were all spinning about on it, then Harry decided to strip off and go streaking. He turned a few heads."
Niall added: "He's a braver boy than me. It can get a bit chilly when you pick up speed. It can be quite cold backstage too."

And prior to that, Niall was said to be growing close to X Factor USA host Demi Lovato.

This is not the first time Niall and Demi have been linked somewhat romantically, either. The puppy love started all the way back in June of last year when they both admitted they were buddies and spoke very highly of one another. They went on a taco date after the 2012 MTV VMAs and Demi reportedly told people that she and Niall were “casually dating” back in October. Have they upped their status to “exclusive” from “casual”? Friends say his career doesn’t leave him time for a serious romance, so he decided to end it with aspiring ­model and actress Amy Green, 20.

Drama student Amy, who herself ended a four-year relationship to be with the 1D idol, is said to have been left “devastated”.

A source close to the pair confirmed: “Sadly, it is over between Niall and Amy. He finished it because he didn’t have enough time with everything he has to do. Understandably she was disappointed because she had been in a relationship before she started seeing Niall and chose him over her boyfriend.

“But there are no real hard feelings and they’re still close.”

Amy, who is studying drama at the ­University of Birmingham, started dating the Irish heart-throb last October after they met at a London nightclub.

But pals say it was her who first threatened to end their relationship earlier this month. A source revealed: “She found Niall a bit too immature for her tastes.

“It was like Niall’s first relationship, whereas Amy had been in a relationship before. They had a few silly arguments and it was really the beginning of the end.” A source close to Amy, who now has well over 100,000 followers on Twitter because of the high-profile relationship, added: “Niall used all the tools he could to woo her and he treated her really well. She enjoyed it while it lasted and hopes they’ll stay friends.”

Last November ­Twitter trolls sent Amy abuse online. One wrote: “@Amy-Green92 You are dating Niall and now you think that you are famous? Attention seeker! Go away! Drama queen!” The tweeter added: “@AmyGreen92 I hope that Niall doesn’t see you without make-up because he will die!”

Niall, 19, who found fame on The X ­Factor with bandmates Harry Styles, 19, Louis Tomlinson, 21, Zayn Malik, 20, and Liam Payne, 19, told her to “ignore the haters”.

Worth an estimated £10million, Niall has in the past been linked to a string of beauties, including X Factor USA host Demi Lovato. But on Valentine’s Day he tweeted that he had only received a single card... from a little girl fan.”

Speaking outside her family’s North London home, Amy said: “I don’t know what I should or shouldn’t say. Sorry.” Niall said he’d “never felt happier”.

Niall Horan will be the first to leave One Direction

Rumor has it Zayn Malik who is considering leaving the band, the former member of Westlife, Brian McFadden, has indicated that it believes that Niall is the one with the greatest chance to leave the band that catapulted him to stardom.

As reported Glamour.co.uk, Brian said in an interview with British radio station Real Radio Yorkshire: "It seems that Niall is the typical follow my steps and Robbie Williams will be the first to change the group a solo career. "He added: "Those who leave are always first with the spark, which are a little more daring and rebellious."

The singer also said Niall's character reminds him, perhaps because both are Irish, and said the part of One Direction is something I had seen before while looking in the mirror.

Horan has not yet ruled on the matter of these statements. Who else has come out in defense of the unity of the band is their spokesman, who has denied rumors that a possible way out of the group of Zayn Malik

An investigation is underway to discover the source of a leak of the new One Direction single – which could cost charity Comic Relief hundreds of thousands of pounds.

The band’s official twitter also today praised people who are buying the song legally, tweeting: “Thanks to everyone who’s pre-ordered 1D’s @rednoseday single already - keep supporting this amazing cause.”

Some One Direction fans vowed on Twitter not to listen to the song until it was officially released out of loyalty.
