Why was Zayn Malik crying on stage during One Direction's tour?

The bequiffed one got a little teary whilst the band were performing their hit song Little Things.

If anyone reading this has a direct line to Zayn Malik, can they check in and see if he's alright - and maybe send some Kleenex his way?

The reason we ask is that the boy band member was snapped on stage with his One Direction bandmates at the weekend seemingly shedding a tear.

The picture, posted on Twitter by a keen-eyed Directioner, was taken during their performance of their Ed Sheeran-penned hit Little Things.

Yeah, we often have a little cry listening to that song too. Mainly because we know thatZayn will never join up the dots with the freckles on OUR cheeks. That's not weird, is it?

Anyway. Zayn was on stage with the rest of 1D in Glasgow, the latest date on their world tour which kicked off at London's O2 last week.

It's possible that Zayn is already missing his lady love, Little Mixer Perrie Edwards , although he'd best get used to it - the tour doesn't finish until November. He'll be sobbing on Harry's shoulder by the end of it.
