1D's Louis Tomlinson forgets his solo lyrics mid-song during concert

It must be hard remembering the lyrics to a few dozen pop songs - which is probably whythe lyrics are always so simple.

But poor Louis Tomlinson totally forgot the lyrics for his solo at One Direction's gig in Cardiff on the weekend.

The embarrassing moment was caught on film by a fan as Louis - who rivals Harry Styles for best hair in the band - lost his concentration.

Well, it can't be easy when there are 10,000 excited girls (and a few parents feigning interest) staring right at you.

During the band's cover of Teenage Dirtbag by Wheatus, Louis was given the simple job of singing one of the final verses solo.

Instead of smashing it O2 Arena style (when we were in the crowd) it was more like our Christmas party at Lucky Voice when someone thinks they know the words to the Thong Song.

Louis, 21, fist bumped Zayn Malik as he strutted to the edge of the stage and went blank.

"I just forgot the lyrics. I'm not even going to pretend that I know them.

The rest of One Direction - Harry, Zayn, Liam Payne and Niall Horan - chipped in to save his blushes as Louis managed to stutter the last line.

"I'm sorry, Cardiff," he gushed.
