One Direction announce official book, fans start hysterically crying (probably)

They've just had one of these big announcements that get One Direction fans going mental and refreshing their twitter feed every five seconds until their phone overheats - to let them know about the 2014 stadium tour.

And now they've made another one - poor fan's phones - telling us about their new, 100% official book. This afternoon the boys sent girls around the world going mental and digging out their book tokens (can you still get book tokens?), by tweeting: "The announcement is....A NEW BOOK! "WHERE WE ARE, OUR BAND, OUR STORY"

We're guessing the sudden change to capitals is for extra drama. Guys, you don't need it.

They also tweeted a pic of what looks like the book cover, which appears to be called '100% Official 1D Where We are Our Band Our Story' (snappy) and shows the fivesome looking their usual photogenic selves in black and white with a general quiff theme. We're going to rate Harry best (standard), then Louis (we like the denim jacket), followed by Zayn (good face, bad jumper) Liam (okay) and Niall (we just don't get it, sorry).

According to the official info: "This is the only official book from 1D, charting their journey over the last year and a half – from the places they’ve visited and fans they’ve met, to their thoughts and feelings, hopes and dreams, highs and lows. It has been a phenomenal year – and this is a phenomenal story. This Christmas, there will be no other book that true One Direction fans will want!"
